These tools create isochrones, also known as travel time polygons or catchment areas: the area reachable within a travel time from (or to) each point in a layer. Isochrone Core uses the /time-map/fast endpoint and Isochrone Custom the /time-map endpoint; see Core vs Custom.

|---|---|---|
| Locations | The point layer to draw isochrones around | Both |
| ID | The field identifying each location in the output | Both |

| Departing / Arriving | Whether the isochrones are for journeys departing from the locations or arriving at them | Both |
| Time Period | The typical time period journeys are calculated for | Core |

The optional Transportation options, Search range (Custom only), Snapping and Shape options are described on Common parameters.
NORMAL- one isochrone per location, with its ID in theIndex_idfieldUNION- one shape covering the area reachable from any locationINTERSECTION- one shape covering only the area reachable from every location. The tool fails if there is no such area, or if any location's search fails, whatever the Robust Mode setting.
UNION and INTERSECTION work for any number of locations.
